About the presentation “The Eurasian Economic Union and the Netherlands: Prospects and Potential for Further Business Cooperation”

On November 21, 2019 in Amsterdam the presentation “The Eurasian Economic Union and the Netherlands: Prospects and Potential for Further Business Cooperation”, organized by the EAEU member states' embassies in the Netherlands and the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), was held. The EEC delegation was headed by Dr. Alexander Subbotin, a Member of the Board (Minister) of the EEC in charge of Industry and Agriculture. The event was attended by more than 70 representatives of business and scientific communities of the Netherlands.
The Netherlands is one of the most important trade and economic partners of the EAEU, the demand for establishing a full-scale dialogue with representatives of large Dutch business and the expert community is growing. In 2018 trade turnover between the EAEU and the Netherlands amounted to 55.6 billion US dollars, an increase of 20.6% compared with the previous year, export in goods from the EAEU to the Netherlands equaled to 51.2 billion US dollars, an increase of 23, 2%
