Consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Belarus and the Netherlands

On May 27, 2019 Minsk hosted the next round of the political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Belarus and the Netherlands.

The Belarusian delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oleg Kravchenko, the Dutch delegation was led by the Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs, Pieter Jan Kleiweg de Zwaan.

During the consultations, the sides discussed the current state and prospects for the Belarusian-Dutch relations in political, trade, economic and other spheres, as well as human rights issues, the dialogue between Belarus and the EU, cooperation in multilateral formats and the current regional developments.

The parties confirmed mutual interest in further expansion of relations, including political dialogue and economic ties.
