Trade and Investment cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Kingdom of the Netherlands

The unlawful EU sanctions policy has a negative impact on the bilateral trade. Despite this fact, the Netherlands is still one of the important trading partners of the Republic of Belarus.

 At the same time, the Netherlands continues to hold one of the leading positions among all EU countries in terms of the export volumes of the Republic of Belarus.

 The Netherlands also has the leading positions with regard to the volumes of the foreign investments to the Republic of Belarus, including the foreign direct investments.

There are a large number of enterprises with Dutch capital operating in Belarus.

The main areas of activity of joint and foreign enterprises created with the participation of Dutch companies include the production of food products, pharmaceuticals and furniture, agriculture, provision of services and others.
